EDEC's original line of Black Hole Faraday Bags have been designed to aid law enforcement, military, and consultants in the collection, preservation, transport, and analysis of wireless evidence.

Wireless devices such as cell phones, GPS, netbooks, Bluetooth devices, laptops, etc. are shielded from cellular, WiFi, Bluetooth and radio signals by EDEC's proprietary ISOTech Shielding System when inside one of their faraday bags. The ISOTech Shielding System is lightweight and durable for use in the field and the lab.

Tarantula supports all major Chinese manufactured chipsets -- Mediatek, Spreadtrum, and  Infineon, even if the phone is pin-locked.  Using both full physical and logical methods, Tarantula extracts, decodes, and reports low-level data – even deleted data -- including  call logs, SMS, phone book, and critical phone information such as passwords, IMEIs and flash chip identification. Tarantula now supports both feature phone chipsets as well as Android smartphone chipsets.
